RE: Lite Travel Trailer

mrasoul, I have the 2008 Rockwood 8296ss and have camped 34 nights this year some close trips some 4 hour trips. We have no issues with ours at all and we have had NO issues with the concertone system. When we bought ours a factory rep said that FR was using aa new vendor for them. Like Skip said the bathroom is huge and very usable. My DW and I looked at the Jayco jayfeather and just felt the Rockwood was better quailty imho. If we had gotten a heavier unit the Jayco eagle is the one we would have gone with.

St. louis campgrounds

DW and I along with DS and GF are going to St Louis to camp the first week of September. We want to catch a day at Six Flags and a couple of ballgames, the zoo,the arch etc. etc. Not sure what
campgrounds are out there. I know about Jellystone and KOA in Eureka
by six flags but have read some bad reviews on these 2. Has anyone stayed at the Pine Oak Creek campground and did you like or dislike it. Does anyone have any other suggestions for the saint Louis area.
Any info would be appreciated. 3
Thanks,
Garry

RE: Branson RV Parks

Kennersonf, Compton ridge will very very close together with their site and like th op stated it does need some sprucing up. Americas best camground has lots to do and is very clean but their sites are close also. If it was me I would go with America's Best Camground. It is off of HWY 248 and close to the blue rout and red route for getting around Branson.

RE: COE CANCELLED ALL MY RESERVATIONS! at Table Rock Lake

I had 5 weekends booked at Old Hwy 86 campground. COE sent me an email cancelling all 5 and refunded my credit card. I live 15 min-20 minutes away and went down to the camground 2 weeks ago and you still can not get in the water is that high. The showerhouse, dumpstation and almost all of the campsite were under water. The booth where you check in had water almost to the window. I was told by the folks at Long Creek coe campground that this would happen with 86 and Mill creek. So I just booked at Indian Point and Long Creek and Cricket Creek

RE: 2009 Rockwood

Lierz, I ordered mine from DJ's in Bolivar also. DW and I went to the rv show in Springield in Jan. walked in the 8296ss and just looked at each other and said this is this one.Hoping to get it in mid April(fingers crossed) I like Mill creek CG over your way. My fav corp campground is old hwy 86 but is under water right now. ( at least a couple of days ago it was. I actually live in Hollister but no one knows where that is so I just say Branson since it is just across lake taneycomo. I may have to look up the CG in Cape Fair. Happy Camping

RE: Meramac River MO

Like Skip said Merimac are was flooded pretty bad. As far as CG's on Table Rock there are many, My favaorite corp CG is old hwy 86 right on the lake. You also have table rock state park and Long Creek which is a corp CG. These 3 are all on the branson side of the lake. The Kimberling city area has 6 or 7 on the lake, Aunts creek,Mill creek jsut to name a couple. Right now Table rock lake is 14 feet above normal and the dam has been running 5 spillways open for 3 days now to get it down. If you go to reserveusa.com this will pull up all of the stae parks and corp CG's on and around Table rock lake area.

RE: RV shows

I was at the one in Springfield today. We looked at several and we were very impressed with the Rockwoods. We were going to go with Jayco but DW and I felt like the Rockwood was a better unit
